NetBeans 10th Birthday

Czech student launched it as student project in 1996 as IDE made purely from Java. NetBeans IDE is a very powerful IDE aquired and develop by Sun Microsystem. I first use this version 6.1 (released April 28, 2008) last June 2008, got the installer from Sun Tech Days Manila. This October marks NetBeans’ 10th Year Birthday. Currently version 6.5 is in beta and is planned to be release this November 20, 2008. More info on the NetBeans Open-Source Story (Developer.com article, 2001)
